18 EU-funded projects have joined the Wind Innovation Cluster Hub.

REFRESH is one of 18 projects joining forces to launch the Wind Innovation Cluster Hub, a new collaborative platform connecting Horizon Europe initiatives that are driving wind energy innovation across Europe.

Until now, the wind energy sector has lacked a shared structure connecting the work of Horizon Europe projects. The Wind Innovation Cluster Hub aims to fill that gap by connecting projects across Europe and creating a clearer framework for collaboration. This community has a shared goal of exchanging knowledge across projects to advance wind energy innovation and support the EU’s climate, energy security, and industrial competitiveness goals.

The Cluster Hub projects span a range of topics within the wind energy sector:

• circularity and high-performance materials;
• digital monitoring, O&M and wind farm control;
• offshore wind technologies and infrastructure, including floating wind; and
• system integration, grid and market readiness.

REFRESH is a member of the Circularity, Sustainable & High-Performance Materials Working Group. We look forward to exploring the knowledge exchange and collaborative opportunities created by this new initiative.
